"Stigvel" was a summer project in 2006 in collaboration with Ingunn Jónsdóttir, supported by "Hitt Húsið" in Reykjavik (a cultural centre for young people).
Our goal was to explore some Icelandic culture and traditions that might be disappearing altogether with the introduction of other international alternatives. Our research was presented in performances on the streets of Reykjavik and in a gallery in the city center. At the end of the project we introduced some product ideas ,that were based on this research, in an exhibition in the same gallery.
