Stígvél designduo is the collaboration between Ingunn Jónsdóttir and Thórunn Árnadóttir. Our project this summer of 2006 was to do a littleresearch on Icelandic culture and make some artpieces, performances and design based on it. We got a grant from Reykjavik city for the project. The ideas for the design gradually developed while we made our art. We had a website where we threw in texts, photographs, sketches and thoughts about our project throughout our work.

On the following pages are pictures of some of our work this summer.
