Stígvél
Our name, Stígvél, is the Icelandic name for boots. It´s made out of two words: “stíg” that means “step” and “vél” that means “machine”. This is very strange... “step-machine”, and doesn´t really make sense. We though it was interresting, a word people use a lot but almost never think of the meaning. Our logo is a “stepmachine”.
